I have now entered the wonderful world of blogging…  first it was KW with her blog that TR and I got wrapped up in reading.  Well then this weekend, TR goes and decides she needs her own blog.  So… what happens… now I have mine.  Who am I you ask? I am JD.  And I am getting married.  10/18/08.  Great date.

 Not sure what I need the blog for, but hey – why not jump on the bandwagon.  Maybe JD, TR and KW will break the Guinness Book of World Records for most blog hits and most conversations about our blogs… Trust me – it could happen.

 Well enough about the people who have now caused me to actually self-reflect.  Let’s get to the self-reflecting.  Like I said I am getting married soon.  Almost 8 months away exactly.  I couldn’t think of what “type” of blog I wanted, because you know TR and KW both have a specific type so I decided it would be for my wedding.  I’m guessing it will be more than that.  I have almost everything planned out now.  I started planning in October 2007 so I’ve been doing it for about 5 months now.  I have the general idea of everything I want and now have to work out the kinks and fine details.  Oh yes – and there’s paying for everything.  Had a “meeting” with the mom and the dad (divorced since I was 10 – so we don’t have to hit that point later… haha…) and the FH (Paul) to discuss the finances.  Actually went much better than I had thought.  I was nervous for it and thought that everything I had planned would probably have to be thrown out the window but they were right on track with me.  Must be in the blood.

 The FH has been good through the whole thing.  He offers his opinions and has only requested a few things to be a certain way.  Other than that he has completely let me plan this the way I want.  He’s great.  I’m guessing the future steps in this blog will be to talk about our relationship, etc.

For now I am done.  I have written my first blog and I am ready to post. Watch out world – watch out.  We are beginning a revolution.  As TR says… the crazies are coming out.
